Road Home Exteriors was twenty years in the making. Matt Danitz and Leo Dunn met their freshman year of college at the University of Northern Colorado. It was an instant friendship and it was not long until they got their first experience in the exteriors world – working a summer job together on an exterior paint crew.

The next couple of decades would include working on all aspects of home from interior kitchen and bathroom remodels to exterior decks, siding, and roofs. Throughout the years Matt and Leo always knew they wanted to have their own business, they just couldn’t decide exactly what it would be.

Turns out, all it took was a world-wide pandemic. One fateful afternoon, Matt and Leo were commiserating over (a few) beers and pizza that the future of their current jobs were very uncertain. They came to the fortunate conclusion that if the world was going to end, it may as well be while they finally achieve their dream. On July 17^th, 2020, Road Home Exteriors was born.

With their new business would also come a new way of doing things. Their combined 40 years of industry knowledge was enough to know the things about contractors that often drove customers crazy. They put an emphasis on communication, education, and dedication. They would prioritize the customer experience and lessen the anxiety that homeowners often associate with home projects. All the while keeping a company culture that lives by a simple motto: Do What Is Expected, Then Do More.
