Our Story

Road Home Exteriors was twenty years in the making. Matt Danitz and Leo Dunn met their freshman year of college at the University of Northern Colorado. It was an instant friendship and it was not long until they got their first experience in the exteriors world – working a summer job together on an exterior paint crew.

The next couple of decades would include working on all aspects of home from interior kitchen and bathroom remodels to exterior decks, siding, and roofs. Throughout the years Matt and Leo always knew they wanted to have their own business, they just couldn’t decide exactly what it would be.

Turns out, all it took was a world-wide pandemic. One fateful afternoon, Matt and Leo were commiserating over (a few) beers and pizza that the future of their current jobs were very uncertain. They came to the fortunate conclusion that if the world was going to end, it may as well be while they finally achieve their dream. On July 17^th, 2020, Road Home Exteriors was born.

With their new business would also come a new way of doing things. Their combined 40 years of industry knowledge was enough to know the things about contractors that often drove customers crazy. They put an emphasis on communication, education, and dedication. They would prioritize the customer experience and lessen the anxiety that homeowners too often associate with home projects. All the while keeping a company culture that lives by a simple motto: Do What Is Expected, Then Do More.

Matt - Owner

Having grown up in Highlands Ranch, Matt brings a local’s perspective and a passion for quality craftsmanship to every project. As a co-owner of Road Home Exteriors, he’s dedicated to making the exterior remodeling process honest, smooth, and stress-free for homeowners across the Denver Metro area. When he’s not on the job, you’ll find Matt spending time with his wife and two kids, restoring old cars, firing up the barbecue, or catching live music around town.

Leo - Owner

Leo is one of the proud co-owners of Road Home Exteriors. Originally from Durango, Colorado, he has called North Denver home for over a decade. Leo wears many hats within the company—he goes on sales calls, manages projects in the field, and oversees our marketing and website efforts to ensure everything reflects our customer-first mission.

Outside of work, Leo enjoys working on small projects at his home, golfing, staying active, live music, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Brianne - Operations Manager

Brianne is our dedicated Operations Manager. She is at the heart of keeping everything running smoothly, from scheduling consultations to organizing our day-to-day operations and ensuring every customer experience is top-notch by making sure our team has everything they need to deliver the best for your home.

When not orchestrating the ins and outs of our operations, Brianne enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, and you’ll often find her tending to her vegetable garden!

Danny - Project Manager

Danny is our reliable and detail-focused Project Manager at Road Home Exteriors. With roots in Wyoming and time spent living in both Colorado and Montana, he brings a grounded, outdoorsy perspective to every project he manages. His diverse experience across the region has shaped his calm, dependable approach—making him a trusted leader on roofing, siding, and window jobs throughout the Denver Metro area.

Off the clock, Danny enjoys fishing, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with his family and his dog. He brings the same steady energy to his personal life as he does to every job site. Danny is a strong believer in doing things right the first time, and he lives out our motto every day: Do What Is Expected, Then Do More.

David - Production Manager

David is a proud combat veteran who served in the 10th Mountain Division. A lifelong resident of the south Denver area, he enjoys spending his free time golfing, skiing, and fishing in Colorado’s great outdoors.

As your project supervisor, David will be regularly checking in to ensure the crew is working efficiently, following best practices, and keeping your home on track to be the best-looking one on the block. If you see him on site, feel free to say hello or ask any questions—he’s always happy to help.
